Default DVD player available for MOST bus

I stumbled across this website from a thread on roadfly. Oasis SiliconSystems (company web page) makes the IC and other components and development tools for the MOST system.

There is a lot of information here about the MOST bus and coming developments for this system. They have an Austin office. It would seem the MOST IC was developed here.

Default Glovebox?

May be could go in the glovebox if it can be remotely controlled by PCM.
I am in no rush of getting a DVD in the car so I guess I will wait and see which systems come out. Wasn't it a story of an AV component extension for the PCM doing the rounds a while back?

at least every PCM have a "AV" Buttom so future upgrades are thinkable - or, a complete new PCM including the new stuff.

I think it will be new one with the player embeded in the system.
