Default 2005 Cayenne S making a clicking sound under acceleration?

Hi all,

My Cayenne has recently begun making a clicking sound whenever I accelerate. Almost like when we put playing cards in the wheels of our bicycle spokes. So, not like when only turning like maybe CV joints, and not a hard knocking in the center. I did the front brakes myself recently and thought perhaps I did something wrong there. I took it to Les Schwab and they said the brakes look great, they thought it might be the drive shaft, but they were not sure as they don't do that type of work. Any thoughts on what this could be? Not coming from the engine either.

Thanks all!

Jeremy

Wiggle the CV joints at each boot by hand. If you hear clicking or any play whatsoever... they are ready to FAIL.
