Default Tire pressure sensor Q

Is there a way to verify if a set of wheels has tire pressure sensors installed without mounting the wheels? I just picked up a used set of GTS RS Spyder wheels in black off of ebay. These will be going on my 2013 GTS, which currently has tire pressure sensors. Everything checks out on the visual inspection of the wheels, tires and wheels look brand new, though the Valve stems are black rubber, and for some reason I thought Porsche uses a metal valve stem when the tire pressure sensor is installed. I don't know if the sensors can be used with other valve stems. My best guess is these wheels do not have them and I will need to get the proper stems and get the the sensors installed.

Thanks!

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...jsp?techid=152 interesting article I found. Looks like you can get rubber valve stems for TPMS.
