OEM rotors and pads for 2004 Cayenne S
Dear All,
I would appreciate some help please.
My Pepper at 156K miles will be needing new rotors and pads soon. My indy mechanic wants over $2K for the job as says its because the OEM pads and rotors are very expensive. He mentioned that if I found the part, the labor is only around $400. I have found this Brembo kit for $450. Is this what I need? Again I appreciate the feedback!

Burning Brakes
I ordered pads and rotors from Pelican Parts for my wife's 08 CS. I believe they were Zimmerman rotors and Pagid pads. I have also used the same brands on my old Boxster and they worked fine.

My indy shop charges a little more than I can usually google parts for. They get most parts discounted from the dealer but do charge less than if you went to the dealer yourself. They say the little extra helps them make a couple bucks to help keep the cost of labor down. If you bring your own parts they do charge more for labor. The lower labor cost is really nice when you need something done that is mostly labor!

Pagid are OEM supplier for pads. Are you doing fronts and rears? If so, we have a really great brake kit that includes just about all the parts you'll need for the job here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item0. There is a basic kit that is less expensive and it uses Ate front rotors, Zimmerman rear rotors and Pagid pads. If you click on more info to the kit and then click on Kits & Compatibility below it will give you the part number and brand of parts in the kit. The kit below that one lists more parts that you can replace while doing the job and uses either all OEM or Genuine parts. I believe the rotors/pads used in both kits are the same so you'll be getting OEM/Genuine options in the basic kit as well. Let me know if you have any questions.
