Some of you may not realize that there are "courtesy" flood lights on the bottom of the driver and passenger side mirrors. Mine never worked so I assumed the bulbs were dead.

I pulled out the old bulbs and replaced them and was surprised that neither of the bulbs looked damaged, and that new bulbs did not fix my problem.

I hooked up the multimeter and verified that ground is 0 ohms to a grounding point, and ground to the positive lead has high resistance. I have 0.02V between the brown and green wire on the bulb socket all the time, no matter what I do with the locks or lights.
