Default Replacement oil hose

Can anyone tell me what this rather corroded hose this is?
I noticed it last night when doing an oil and filter change on the 957 turbo, its on the front drivers side (passenger side in US!)/ right hand side when underneath and facing towards the front of the car.
I'm hoping its not a big job for me to replace, interestingly that area must be a weak spot for corrosion as all the other oil pipes look fine..
Thanks

try some rust converter or rubberize the hose, it looks rather on the surface if its not cracked there is no need to replace it, use some sand paper to rub it

Hi, thanks for your reply. I would rather not risk the hose leaking in the future without me knowing and causing expensive damage, so would like to replace.
Any idea what the pipe is feeding oil to or how I can get a part number?
Thanks

you can go to the partsgeek or jim ellis porsche or paramount to check the breakdown charts of the vehicle, then clicking the part you want would get you the part number, with the part number cross check by just googling the part number to confirm the correct image etc.
