Default 239 vs 245 Cayenne 958 Diesel

I am searching for my first cayenne (958) and I have noticed that there are 2 versions of the diesel engine.
Should I be careful not to chose one of them?
I am in Europe btw

In the EU you have the base (v6) an S (v7) versions of the diesel to choose from. We only get the base here in the States

I think it's much like the base versus S petrol motors, just depends on what you want. I've read good reports about the S, but have no first hand knowledge. The base is a good motor for the Cayenne though.
