Cayenne S Error:P1400-control position not adjustable
Hi Guys,
I bought my Porsche Cayenne S 2003 four months ago. I am extremly happy with emotions which it is giving. As we all know we can have both positive and negative ones.
And here comes a time for a negative one...
From few days I observed an Air suspension warrning which pop-ups on car's screen. I went to a workshop which owns Porsche computer and it has shown error P1400-control position not adjustable.
My observation are the following.
1. Car has no problems with going for an upper position (for example from normal to terrain level).
2. When I am traveling on terrain level there is no error untill I will exceed speed which is lowering the car (85km/h).
3. Car have no problems with lowering front suspension, it only applies for rear.
4. When error comes to the desk it looks like front suspension is on correct position while rear is much upper.
5. It applies for front/rear relation only, I do not see any difference between right/left.
Workshop diagnosed it as a damaged compressor. I do not feel like a mechanic at all but I can see a problem rather with a valve that can not release the pressure then with compressor which is rather responsible for filling the pressure.
Workshops that are specialized in Porsche are like 300km from the place where I live, that is why I decided to try ask specialists here on forum before going there. I will be very thankfull for all advices.
