Default Park Assist inop...

Today, randomly, the parking assist didn't work. On/Off trick didn't fix. Checked fuse (right side #2, 5A) and that is fine. Any other fuses or relays for park assist?

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks.

To clarify, none of the lights light up, no warning tones, nothing at all in either REVERSE or DRIVE at any time.

I read some other posts of red lights and beeps and intermittent operation, however, I don't think that applies here. I receive nothing at all, as though the entire system is unplugged or turned off (hence checking the fuse). I wish it was the fuse, but unfortunately the 5A fuse is intact.

I will replace the fuse anyway to see if that solves it.

If it's completely dead, then it likely is the control module, not a fuse. Mine failed awhile back, and here's a link to the write-up I did on how to replace the module. You should be able to find a used PDC module from a salvage yard that is already coded if you can locate one from the same year and model as your Cayenne. I bought used, and it's been working great ever since I replaced the failed one.
