Well Ive got 22" rims with Pirelli's on mine cos thats what it came with when I bought it - Its fine on a good road, bloody horrible if the road gets a tad bumpy.
Im also very concerned about the tyres overtime I stray off the bitumen.
Id defo not recommend the 22" rims unless your on the track.
I have factory 21"s with OEM Michelin Latitude 3. They ride great and have no road noise.
I also have a set of winter tires on 20" that dont feel any softer then the 21", but then again, they are winter tires. No complaints with the 21" ride.
My 2006 TT is lowered with the lowering links and when you get a bumpy road i put the shocks in SPORT mode to absorb the little bumps. Its a little harsh sometimes but come on im rolling in 22´s!
Just got new cayenne, want to upgrade rims from 18 to either 20 or 22's
How's 20 vs 22 ride comparison.
Dashboard showing 18" will it change automatically when I change to 20" or higher?
Thanks all
Why not 21 and compromise. To me most wheels in 22 look to big, though I have to say Paqueras's look nice. I've been thinking about going from 18s to 20s or 21s, I think I'm pretty set on getting 21s, the roads aren't bad here.
I had Pirelli, now have Yoko. On a truck, both are fine. Yoko was cheaper and last longer. Got 24k out of the pirellis, have 29 on the yokos and they are still at 50%
