Default question on easy exit

The manual for my TT with electric comfort pfkg. says upon exit, the steering wheel will go up, and the seat will go all the way back and to lowest position. The wheel goes up, but try as i might, the seat never moves back or down. Other than pushing in the button on the steering column, which I've done, is there something else?? Does anyone's driver seat actually do this??

my wheel and my seat move like you describe they should. Maybe you need to set them into memory or something. But both my wheel and seat move before I exit the car.

Same for me. When I open the door, seat moves back and down and wheel goes up. Upon close of door and insertion of ignition key, seat moves to position saved as does wheel. It's a very nice feature.

Raklaw are you very tall? Hate to ask, but is the seat already down and back possibly?
