Default Heating/cooling fan goes out

This is the 2nd fan unit to fail. Does anyone else have this issue? Not sure of cause of first failure but we had a heavy rain and the drains for the roof water may have been less than perfectly clear as the cabin air filter was soaked. Looks like the electrical unit got wet.

I thought some people in the past had problems with the speed resistor frying, and that will mess with the fan.

Never had that problem, just replaced the fan.

The fan would not work in the vehicle but when removed and you applied voltage the fan would run so the issue was the fan motor control module (or whatever they called it) and it wasn't serviceable. Now less than a year later the same issue. Maybe they will warranty the part????

+1 on Resistor.
You have to take the glove box out.
