958 Reverse Mirror Dip Issue
Hey guys,
Recently I've noticed on our 2011 CS that the passenger side mirror does not come all the way back to the stored position after the vehicle is placed in reverse.
This happens every time.
I can adjust the mirror to the desired position, back out of the driveway, then as I'm driving off it returns to about half way.
Any ideas?
The car is under a CPO warranty, so if need be I can take it in.
Taking it in is a hassle and I’m hoping someone has a simple solution however, I am skeptical that one exists.
Thanks
Drew

I have the same issue on my 16 GTS so the issue still hasnt been resolved.
Every time i go in reverse, i need to hold down the memory seat button to bring the mirror back to the stored position putting it back to drive.
The mirror goes back up, but as you said, it only goes up maybe half way.

Yeah that's a common complaint with the 958 from what I've seen.
From what I can tell once you start moving forward it stops the process. Try waiting to move until the mirror has finished moving to see if that helps.
I turned that feature off because it was too damn annoying, though it works perfectly in our 996. Go figure that the tech got worse in 10ish years...
