Default Parking brake ratlle

Any tips for resolving a parking brake rattle that shows up on rough roads? I replaced the rear pads and rotors on my 2009 Cayenne and everything is working well except a clank sound on the right side. I've adjusted the parking brake so it holds tight and doesn't engage too early. On BMW's I've removed the same noise by adjusting the cable but I haven't found a way on this car. Thanks

Make sure the springs are all correctly installed. Usually a rattling noise from the parking break indicates a spring that is somewhat or completely loose.

Problem solved and embarrassed to say it was just one of the old caliper bolts hanging out in the control arm. Rookie mistake for this 15 year shade tree mechanic!
