Default 955 turbo s control arms backordered

ECS sells the ~$525 turbo s control arm kit, but it's backordered through August. A pair of "base" arms made by Meyle can be had for ~$340. I've used meyle arms on my BMW for about 80k miles without issue now.

I have a bit of clunking and torn ball joint boots. Is it worth the wait and extra money for the turbo S arms?

They are no longer backordered. I just updated the lead time on the control arms for you

Well, thanks ECS! Backordered no more. I'll leave the poll open for a bit to weigh the value of Turbo S Porsche parts vs "base" Meyle parts...I'm still tempted to pocket the $180 savings towards the ~$1000 Porsche tow kit. Obviously I'm trying to get in the ECS Platinum Contributors Club.

If you're really looking to save money, all you need are the bushings. These are the Turbo S bushings. You'll still need labor to remove and replace plus alignment. This is the bushing that goes bad but there are other bushings on that arm. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1510741...3D867341170641

That is not the Turbo S bushing. That is a 958 bushing. The 955 Turbo S bushing is part number 95534124250.

I do have access to a press and would do just the bushings, however my ball joint boots are torn and are probably on their way out.
