Default Caynne S 2008 6 Cylinders - Rear AC

Hi all,

I bought a second hand Porsche Cayenne s 2008 - 6 Cylinders.

Rear AC is not working and I took it to a garage to fix. He told me that there is no rear airconditioner in this model and the openings are only for design.

Is this true??

He said that there is no duct from front AC to rear openings and he said this original, nobody removed it.

Appreciate your views?

No air comes out of the B-billar or center vents (armrest) in the rear? AFAIK - air should still come out of there as they are supposed to be extensions of the front vents.

Sounds like an air flow issue. I don't think there are flapper motors for the rear, the flow volume is fixed. You might check your cabin filter to see if it's dirty. It should be replaced every 40k miles. If you have a durametric, you can check to see what voltage the fan is drawing.
