What’s the point in having different rims front and rear if you end up putting the same rubber on them?
I have the same wheels and wondered that myself. I don't like the stretch on the rear either and running a 45 series vs. 40 makes the ride choppy. A 315 will get the diameters right but it's just too wide for the rear rim width in reality. I'm going back to 21's but keeping the 20's for drag radials.

I bought another set of stock sport techno staggered wheels on ebay and went 9x20" on 275/45 R20 for winter and 305/30 R20 for summer on the 10" set (or maybe 315, can't find the pics quickly and don't remember).

The summer set on 10x20 had a nice concave look to them altough I had to use 5mm spacers to better clear front calipers (mine are a little larger than stock).
Winter set on 9x20 with the 275/45 was just perfect. So much so that I switched to ATs in this dimension on my blue pig and run summer and winter setup on my wife's pig.

Lupo.sk, can you post pics of the 20x10's all around?

I want to do this same set-up on my 05 CTT. I have the stock 18's for winter with 265/60R18 Goodyear Duratracs, which is a great set up BTW, and have 20x9's for summer on replica newer Cayenne wheels. But want to go wider with tires, from the 275/40R20's.
I might just do 285/40R20's on the 20x9s, but ideally would like to do 295/40R20's on 20x10 sport technos. this is what I should have done from the get go, but didnt realize this option when I bought the 20x9 replicas.
But before I source (4) 20x10 sport techno's I want to make sure they work on the front as is.

Can you confirm the rear sport techno's in 20x10 are ET55?

And I guess im confused on why the rear sport technos have an issue clearing the calipers on the front, as they are just wider and with 5mm offset difference from the 20x9 sport technos made for the front, right? And actually since the 20x10s are more concave due to the offset, doesnt that mean the spokes shoulder curve away more from the calipers than the 20x9s?

Thanks

You can't rotate tires on a CTTS. They are 9" wide in front and 10" wide in rear. Wheels do not have same appearance. Dished vs non dished so your way of removing them and remounting is really the only way to do it. I think the PO of my vehicle at some point tried to put the 10's on the front and it chewed into the calipers.
