Wife and I were washing her '13 CD today when we noticed bubbles in the metal trim at the bottom of the tailgate. Notified the dealer and they are ordering a new piece under warranty, so kudos to them. So anyone ever see anything like this?

 

Just noticed the same exact issue with my wife's 2013 Cayenne Diesel. Taking it to the dealer next week.

Please let me know if you found any answers on this.

Seems to be bad part (maybe wasn't totally dry before painting?).

 

The dealer replaced it, no questions asked. I believe they were sending the part to Porsche but I haven't heard anything further.

 

I found exactly the same problem just today, wasn't sure if it was because of the high heat we've had in Vancouver, BC for the past month or so.

I'll be taking mine in to get looked at as well and will expect it to get replaced under warranty..
