The 2nd hand is very noisy. Is this normal? Has anyone changed it for a compass? Asking for friend who just got a 958 GTS. tks

I had a 13 diesel loaner with the dash clock and it was super annoying how noisy it was.

The 13s had a batch of bad clocks that included malfunctions, falling apart, and noisy. Technically mine supposedly didn't qualify, but I complained until the swapped it for the Sport Chrono module. It's a simple plug and play swap with no coding if you only want it to act as a clock.

When I got my cd13 the second had fell of and it was loud. They replace with another clock and it is much quieter

In 958, the analog watch and chrono watch are interchangeable. The latest PCM firmware can automatically detect chrono watch and activate Chrono menu in the little round LCD.
