Question Licence plate fuse

Can anyone help - I was changing the licence plate light to LEDs with the lights on so I could check the LEDs were the right way round and I managed to blow a fuse.
I checked all the fuses in both the dash fuse boxes and all the other lights still work. The handbook doesn't list a fuse for the licence plate either (that I could find). I now get a licence plate bulb check warning on the dash too.
Anybody got a clue where the fuse is?

I don't think there is a fuse for the license plate light. There are overload protection circuits in the electrical system and a PIWIS will need to reset it. The owner's manual cautions us to not change out light bulbs with the circuit hot for this reason.

"Lights, Replacing Bulbs
Warning!
Risk of short circuit.
f Always switch off the relevant consumer when changing bulbs."
