Default Setting my seat in 2009 Cayenne GTS

I finally find an ideal seat position in my 957 GTS.
I cannot stand how the car wash guys always mess it up.
I came to find out that it is not that easy to save the seat position.
Why is it so complicated?

Anyone could post the proper procedure.

Push M+ desired position number on the side of the seat once you want the position to be saved. Hold the two together until you hear a gong. Voila.

I have "set" button and 1,2,3 buttons.
If I press SET and let's say #1.... the seat starts moving into the pre- programmed position.

I cannot save it.

Nope, it doesn't work.
I press the sent button and one of the numbers. The sea just slide into the preprogram position. No gong :-)
Same thing happens on the passenger side.
I have the 2009 GTS.

Press and release Set button. Immediately, press and hold the number you want programmed. Hold until you hear the chime (may take up to ten seconds). Make sure the car is running.

To program that position to the Key, shut the car off, withdraw the key, and within 10 seconds of doing this, press and hold the Set button for up to ten seconds until you hear the chime. Now, anytime you unlock the doors, the mirrors, steering column (if yours is electric), seats, and seat belts will adjust to that position.
