Been having some issues, cel, sometimes car won't start after a fill up. I started another thread on vacuum leaks but wanted a new title. So anyone know the part number on this? My local indy called it a leak detection pump, apparently stuck open.
Actually, it depends on the brand of your carbon canister. If it's made by Dayco, you need Leak Detection Pump 95560510702. If your carbon canister is made by Expert, you need an updated carbon canister which comes with a new leak detection pump, as well as a new molded hose for the retrofit.
Any way of telling which by VIN? 2006 TTS. I just fell out of CPO last year, not used to trusting an independent. I want to work with them, but this is their first real test. They did not send me away with the answer to this, just a part number, and it's not the one you gave me. I don't want to start mail ordering parts and have them be wrong. Any suggestion how to get the right part so I don't end up at the dealer after all?

What are the last 5 of your VIN? Late VINs all used the same canister. Early '06 VINs are a mixed bag.
