Default Dash Noise - Front Passenger Speaker Area

My dealer has spent over a year chasing a slight knocking/ticking noise that seems to come from the dash speaker grill area and A-pillar. It is not consistent happening at all times and does it in warm and cold weather. They have applied felt to all areas of the speaker grill but the noise has not gone away. I think it may be the grill taping on the glass when the car "flexes" driving on smooth roads or mild bumps. It may also be the A-pillar airbag cover piece. Not sure what the dashboard is not bolted and not sure if they've tried to tighten everything. Anyone else have this issue and what was done to address it?

I had a similar issue with the mirror control housing on the driver's side. The issue was more pronounced if the car was parked in the sun for more than 1 hour; as I assume that the plastic housing expands as it heats up.
