Got my 958 CT Dyno'd
I would like to share some dyno numbers of my CT. The car has almost 74,000Km and has fabspeed secondary cat delete pipes only. This is just a baseline number as I'm planning to get GIAC tune very soon! I will post another dyno sheet after the tune. Also, I just received IPD Plenum. Next round will be Plenum + GIAC tune .
That was done on Dyno Dynamics A.K.A "heart-breaker" in 5th gear which reads lower than Dyno Jet and Mustang. The operator told me a stock ZO6 C6 puts down the same (HP at crank) numbers on the same dyno. The temperature was in low 30's C (~ 86 F) at sea level.

Why is one 475bhp max and the next 350bhp? It would have been nice if they had hooked up the boost to see what is stock then you could compare the Boost curve after you have it flashed.

I have a 2009 Turbo S, so not sure if the engines are the same or not, thought they were I have 550HP stock and 553 lb/ft. I have seen the claims of the IPD, (32hp and 25 lb/ft and the S has 30HP and 32 lb/ft)and was curious to see those to be true. I know the power kit from the last gen gets about the same power from 500HP and 516lb/ft.
Not sure how much drive line loss is in the cayenne with the AWD.
Do you plan to do just the IPD or do the IPD and the tune at the same time?
Would love to see the IPD only, but I do understand those runs can get expensive!

My understanding is the IPD plenum is for longevity and security only and doesn't produce any measurable gains in HP or torque, despite what the manufacturer states. There are threads out there to corroborate this. The stock plenum tends to deteriorate over time and the aluminum version makes sense to avoid this issue.
The benefits of the GIAC tune on the other hand... is well documented. A GIAC tune is on my list for next year's modifications.

Def do a before and after with just the IPD plenum so we can see once and for all what the gains are. Hopefully, you can do the plenum install on the spot so the conditions are the same.

We've got at least 4 or 5 4wd dynos up in Seattle. I'll have to give one a try. You definitely need a real 4wd dyno, some places try to sell you that they have on but they use their 2wd dyno with free wheeling rollers for the front wheels, this will give an in-accurate reading on any modern AWD vehicle with a center diff/transfer case which splits Torque.

Amazing how little objective evidence we have on forums specific to the Plenum.
Thanks in advance!
