I'm having the same problem on my 2013 Cayenne GTS. no longer under warranty and I'm not a big fan of the local Porsche dealers. I'm curious as to what the fix was, and the cost??

Default It’s XM.

I called the dealer and was told it’s an XM radio hiccup. They walked me through the PCM rebooting process and now all is great! It starts with holding the info button on the radio for a few seconds and then press the car button on the radio. Sorry I can’t remember the next sequences but I recall they’re pretty intuitive.

LOL yes. Just last night, my neighbor with a 2014 GTS stopped for a little while on his walk around the 'hood and told me of this exact thing that just happened to him. XM update of some sort triggered the problem.

Thank you CRoger so much for taking the time and effort to post this! Absolutely spot on! Fixed my problem that I thought for sure would cost hundreds at the dealer. My wife is ecstatic!! You are the sheriff!

Just purchased last Friday ('11 base version but has virtually every option but PASM) so this was making me nervous.

The same problem happened to me, my 2009 Cayenne. It turns off every minute and works on its own. The sound never exists. If you find a solution, please help.

Its now also difficult at times to switch between AM/SiriusXM or between stations (buttons not responding or responding slowly) though this is much more intermittent than the constant restarting.

Has anyone else had this issue??
yes,
Nothing happened, just started shutting down, the Porsche badge shows then back to where it was and and in a few minutes the same thing over and over. Has anybody heard of a fix or what is causing it?
