Default What does this button do?

I know it activates the suspension to move the vehicle up and down, but what is the purpose, given that the other height selector switch is there? thanks.

That button is not from the factory. Looks like something that is used with an aftermarket lowering module. I would look in the back right corner to see if there is a module attached to the wiring.

Your guess is probably right but it looks like the panel is recessed around it. So it was unusually nicely done, if after market.

What year and model is this?

I used that same style of button/switch when I installed heated seats in my landcruiser. Definitely aftermarket.

It's the Inspector Gadget scissor-lift switch, so you never have to wait in traffic again.

It's a 2005 turbo with Porsche power and front brake option. The button sends the vehicle up and down regardless of what setting the air suspension is on

Don't know why anyone would install a lowering kit when you have the factory option?

This was spot-on, there is a 40mm Gemballa lowering module attached to the wiring as suggested. Thanks.

Because the factory low low setting is designed for loading / unloading only. As soon as you start moving, she goes up.
