Cayenne headlight won't come out
Hi,
Have the dipped beam error, was able to remove right headlight and check connector, tighten screws etc... Still no low beam. SO i bought a couple of new bulbs, try to remove the headlight, comes almost out, but no way to remove it ( could it be the connector not disconnecting from socket ???). Any tricks or alternative way to get it out, anyway to get to/release headlight connector without taking it out ? .
Thanks in advance

Sorry, you have to remove the entire headlight housing to change any bulbs.
So you removed it once, and can't remove it the second time? You might want to relock the headlight to the full locked position, then turn the release 90 degrees while pulling. (Once you hear/feel/see the headlight release, just pull straight forward.) And use a socket instead of that POS tool that they give for emergency use only, I think it's an 8mm.
Good luck.

Make sure to pull it straight out - the little plastic fin on bottom of the headlamp unit may be hung up in the track, especially if there is dirt in the track.
Also that plastic fin is really delicate - I broke one and had to superglue it back on

Just for giggles, see if the other headlight housing pops out easily. It will take less than a minute and may prove instructive.
Sometimes you just have to throw care to the wind and just pull as hard as you can. It works about 90% of the time, the other 10% not so much.
If you were local, I'd see if I could give you a hand.
