car settings issues
1. my car used to chirp, I changed the battery and it no longer does so.
2. I changed my headlight switch from the regular one to the auto headlights and it works perfectly. There is no lights settings on the dash information center for lights, but I want the coming home feature so my lights will stay on for those 15 or so seconds to light my way at dark. I asked the dealer over the phone and he never heard of being able to do so, but I seem to remember people activating that feature with their Durametric.
I have vision issues so these things are important to me.
Thanks for your time

First, what year is your Cayenne and second have you looked in the manual? When did it "chirp"? Only comp I know is horn honking when you lock with the Fob (I hate that and disable it right away).
On both my previous '06 S and the current '10 GTS had these features and they are modified through the settings on the info display (explained in the manual).

i have an '06 and it chirped when locking with the fob from the very first day all the way up to my battery change. Batteries in both fobs are fresh.
I went into the settings and there are settings for what triggers the alarm, but I don't see a setting for the chirp feedback when locking the car- but the lights flash.I have problems with contrasting shades of colors, so the chirp is important to me during day light; when it is dark out the head and tail lights are obvious.

My 09 chirps when locking and that is settable, per the manual.
