When this was shut down a few weeks ago it was probably due to an admin noticing a huge increase in volume.
Please, if you're shopping of a vehicle, copy the information and save it in a file with the VIN number in the file name, this way you don't have to go back and check the same VIN multiple times.
I was guilty of looking up the same VIN multiple times. About a day after the original link died, I found the same way in that 09RedGTS posted last week. I was paranoid that it would get locked down again, so I would only go on during business hours, and saved all the info to an excel sheet with a tab for each VIN. This actually ended up being easier to flip back and forth to compare vehicles than using the web page. When pasting into excel, paste special, then text only.

Use your own VIN, and remember to use all CAPS in the VIN.
Thanks!

Hey it asks for the site administrator, which I am not. Any access for regular folks?

It still works, but you have to use the link that 09RedGTS provided, which ends in a VIN number. You can use any VIN, but you can't use the "shorter" link. To look up your specific vehicle, remove the VIN from the link and replace it with the one you want to look at.

Also, make sure u use only CAPS in ur VIN, and that ur VIN copy/paste operation does not insert any extra characters, like % or anything else other than ur VIN in CAPS, after the "=" in the link.
It does seem a good idea not to burden their website with too many hits. This is a great tool if u are shopping for a used Porsche, or if u just want to know what ur own Porsche MSRP and buildsheet were.

I just purchased two P-Cars (05 Cayenne and a clean title chassis 06 Carrera S). This site gave me the build sheet and was quite impressive. The 911 S has some really nice options so I am going to love building this P-Car.

I've been using this link for build / options .....just click the link and then edit the link in your browser and input the VIN number ! This seems to be a more direct method than the OP

Note that the direct buildsheet links above are for cars delivered by PCNA only. If yours wasn't delivered in North America, the link will not work for your VIN. If you are on good terms with your dealer elsewhere, say in Europe, and can get your dealer to email or give you the link to your buildsheet, please post it here for others in Europe (or elsewhere) to use. Thanks.
