Default Cayenne Wheel Arch Removal

I had a bit of a mishap in my 2014 Cayenne today and did some paint damage to the front wheel arch of the car - fortunately nothing else was damaged.

Does anyone know how hard it is to remove the front wheel arch?

Is it accessible after removing the front wheel well liner?

I want to take it off and have it repainted.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about the 958 however, on the 955/957 the decorative wheel trim is held onto the fender with two-sided foam tape. Removal of the trim is performed using a hair dryer to heat the glue and facilitate removal. Some have used plastic trim removal tools as others have used dental floss to cut thru the pre-warmed adhesive.

Installation is reverse of the above using new 3M automotive-grade mounting tape onto clean surfaces.

I don't know if the painted are the same as the non-painted, but the front half of mine (that's all I needed to remove to get where I needed) was held on with compression fittings and a couple of screws. The screws are hidden by the liner as you suspect.
