Default Intermittent "Brake Pads Workshop" dummy light

Sometimes when first starting the car - I don't get the warning until after a few miles. Other times, it comes on immediately after shifting into drive. I checked the front/rear pads and they still appear to have about 4-5mm meat remaining. Normal?

Yes. Eventually it will stay on permanently. I think I drove for more than 1,000km before I changed the pads.

Its time to order brakes, or schedule the job depending on what type of Porsche owner you are.
