Default Writeup to lube creaking HVAC flapper motors?

Both my Touareg and CTT (06 and 04 respectively) have a creaking noise when you first start the car from the solenoids moving the various HVAC flaps. I've read a few posts of dealers lubing these to get rid of the noise, and some just replacing the solenoids themselves. I've never really dug around under/behind the dash area, so I'm not sure how accessible the various flaps are. My HVAC fan squeaks like a hamster cage and was thinking that when I replace it, that might be a good time to try and access the various solenoids.

Anyone ever do this or know if most of the solenoids are accessible without really ripping into the dash?

Don't know how hard to access, but do know they use servos and not vacuum actuators. No squeaking on mine. Sorry I'm not much help here.
