One thing I like about my Cayenne is that when getting out of the vehicle after driving you could press the lock button on the fob before closing the doors and them when closing the doors it would lock. This is a great feature when unloading things, that way I didn't have to free up a hand to lock the doors.

Just got the car back from some repairs and this feature no longer works. Checked all the menus for this but no luck. Nothing in the manual about this that I could find.

Anyone know how to activate this feature again? I have an 05...

It works now, who the hell knows why...

 

It can be turned off and back on again with the key, something about holding the key button for a few seconds after locking, i think its in the manual?

If its off, locking twice activates it again, i think?

 

Something like that. I kept fooling with it till it worked but not sure what I did to make it work. Your explanation makes sense.
