Woke up one morning 4 month ago to take my 10 year old Aussie and my Wolf hybrid to the dog park. Found the Aussie dead. Passed in his sleep. We weren't going to get another but the work was chasing down Aussies in he the dog park to try and play with them and my 8 mo old daughter laughed at the Aussies like nothing else on earth......so now we have a 6 month old Aussie pup.

Congrats to all the Dad's / Mom's of the new pups here -- glad mine is beyond the puppy stage at almost 2 years old. Rescuing a dog is a noble act -- never done it but admire people who do. The picture of Sandi was taken while she was on a hike at her camp -- when I was out of town. Losing a dog is very difficult, and getting a new puppy can be helpful, because you are so busy with the nonsense that you have little time to dwell on your loss. And, as far as thread jacking is concerned, our friends are more important than any vehicle -- even a Porsche.
