I am thinking to redo the clear bra on my GTS. Got a quote form Premier Protective Films International for $850 for half bra (bumper, headlights, half hood and mirrors) but debating if should go for a full bra.

I would do a full. The (noticeable) line across the hood would bother me. My wife saw a half bra on a car and said poor guy got his hood keyed! LOL

I just had XPel installed on my 2015.

I opted for a partial with a full hood upgrade (didn't need the full fenders done). Coverage was hood, bumper, lights, mirrors, door handle cups, door edge lips and a strip on the back bumper to guard against scratches from pulling crap out of the cargo ages.

Paid $1050 (799 for the partial + 250 for hood upgrade to full) less a 15% discount for a web coupon they had on their site. So $892+tax. Very good deal and they did an awesome job.

I used accutint in Seattle.

Well he did the entire front end bump, full hood, full fender, mirrors,a pillar, rocker panels and rear lower bumper. Prices may vary depending on if he has a kit already cut . And it hard to put a price on peace of mind. But if you want perfection he's the man . Price may vary from $1700 - $2300 depending on your car and package you want .

I played stupid and called the service department, asked for the Xpel reps contact information "because I had a problem". When they asked if I bought it there I said no. Then they gave me the reps name and number.

Then called the local Xpel rep, $650 cash, came to my house did it in my garage. He had a huge roll of the clear film, and kept changing knife blades. Cut around or out everything that needed to be exposed for air flow or around moldings, lights, etc.

I had him to the following: ( he also did it by hand, no pre-cut kits)
entire Hood not just the lower 1/3 or 1/4
1/3 front fenders
few inches behind each front wheel
side mirrors
headlights
fog lamps
rear bumper trip to bottom of rear bumper behind rear wheels
entire sides/rocker pannel/painted trim below all the doors

My guy also highly recommended the following for maintenance:

If Cobalt gave you the guy, be patient. He knows what he talks about and is a stand-up guy.
