Hi all

I just bought a 2005 Cayenne Turbo, equipped with the OEM electric hitch.
Off course this works and looks great, but I cannot seem to find the attachment for the emergency brake cable.

As far as I can tell it is not allowed here in Holland to attach the cable over the hitch itself (see pics below).

Does anyone know if there is an attachment hidden somewhere?

Interesting problem. We don't have this electric hitch here in the US. Ours looks like this and there is ample opportunity to run the emergency brake cable where the emergency chains attach on each side.

 

wow that is quite a Hitch ;-)

I searched a bit on the web today and found out the OEM Hitch is made by Westfalia, so I will contact them and find out what is possible.
