I had the Wintrac Xtremes on our 11 Bmw X5 4.4 TT M Sport last winter - great tire! This year I moved the Xtremes to our Touareg and bought the Nextremes in 20" for the X5 - they are the first ever Y speed rated snow tire - they are fitted to the X5 currently and they are very sporty handling, and I think they will be very good in the snow as well.

Don't know if they fit your vehicle, but I have a nice set of 18" Cayenne Turbo wheels with Pirelli Scorpions for sale. Tires are nearly new. Pics available. Agree with the poster above, they are much more robust against pot holes, etc. They also do a surprisingly good job speed/handling wise.

In Nashville our climate isn't one that demands snow tires for the winter but it does get much too cold (and wet) for full summer tires IMHO. The GTS came with the std GTS 21" wheels and the Pirelli summer tires so I just ordered a set of the 808 wheels (deep concave anthracite/machined faced) in 20" from Wheel Dynamics and some Conti ExtreemeContact DWS (all season) tires. The anthracite should go well with the gray paint.

Tires were more expensive from WD but when you add up the shipping and then the additional cost to mount and balance it works out much the same. The TPMS sensors will be installed too.
This will also give me a chance to touch up some minor issues on the stock GTS wheels while they're off.
