Default Hand Brake light stays on ! 2004 TT

I HAVE A 2004 tt and the park hand brake does not go off when i release. i tried several times as well . Is there a quick fix to this ?

Same with the hatch truck light, although all is closed properly the warning light is still on the dash. where can i disconnect the sensor ? I want none of this.

Thank You

Errico

Are you sure it's releasing completely? The damper that returns the parking brake pedal to the "off" position when you pull the release lever is an item that needs to be replaced with time. You can either pull the pedal the rest of the way up with your foot, or you can replace the damper.

Could this be your problem?

I'm not sure about the warning for the rear hatch - I haven't seen that one before.

That's usually it.

As for the hatch warning, it usually requires a new latch for the hatch.
