Jammed/stuck ashtray 2009
anyone experience this? if so, how does it jam, where does it jam and what did you do to un jam it? before I try slipping and sliding a jimmy in there. thought i'd post here to see if someone else has come up with a solution, short of taking the console and dash apart... thanks.

I think I pushed on it like a bazillion times and it like finally popped out.
Its one of those push, release, push lock.
After I got it open, I can't remember if I lubed it or not, but it has not stuck since.
If you push it in once and then try to pry and it doesnt move, push it again and try once more. you need to get it in the release mode.
Other possibility is someone stuck coins in there and they slid out and jammed.
Only way then is luck or remove the center dash...
