Default Possible SSK for the Cayenne

I know, I know, there isn't one available. Yet.
One of the first things I did after picking up my GTS was try and source a short shift kit, since the factory shifter has awful long throws, and attempts to take the joy out of shifting every chance it gets. I sent out a few emails to various vendors, and received a promising reply.

Dan, from Numeric Racing, stated that if there was enough interest in a Cayenne SSK, he would consider making one. Im still talking to him through email, and have no idea about cost (other than likely more than what he currently sells) or how many people are needed to convince him to make the kit.

If a short shift kit for the Cayenne is something that you would be interested in, just post here. I am sending Dan a link to this thread. Hopefully there are enough of us who are interested that it makes sense for him to do R&D and create a new product.

Maybe if this gets some traction, we will get lucky and finally get an option for a better shifter.

It looks like we would need about 10 people to make it worthwhile...we will see if this goes anywhere.

I talked to Dan a few weeks ago about the same thing. I need to pull my shifter assembly and scan it with the FARO laser scanner and send him a step file..
