How great was this thread? VERY great!

I recently had new tires mounted on the German girl and I chose the Porsche dealer to do it.

I knew to ask if the tech doing the balancing is Hunter certified.

I knew to ask for Code Matching of the bare rims and bare tires.

And, I knew to ask for the tech to seek the lowest RFV value achievable... aiming for the low 20's, high teens.

End result is the BEST tire balance that I have EVER received. There aren't enough oh's in "smoooooooooth" to describe how buttery smooth the balance is 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 mph.

Therefore, heartfelt thanks to the OP for starting the thread and to spooltime for a REALLY valuable lesson on the Hunter GSP machine and process.

BRILLIANT.

In honor of this thread's greatness, I'll become a member again.
