Default Mudflaps

I know this is likely to be a bit of a touchy topic because yes, they do look rather ugly on a Cayenne, but does anyone know if there are mudflaps available for 958 Cayennes?

We just had a massive rainstorm in Toronto that got all sorts of gunk and mud onto the roads, and I found that my front wheels seem to kick all sorts of stuff onto the sides of my car at high enough velocities that they leave white streak marks..

When I read the title of this post it reminded me of a nickname an unfortunate girl received back in my college days.

There is a listing on ebay for an aftermarket "custom fit" splash guards for the 958. They look similar to the ones you can get from Honda to fit most of their models. I have them on all my Hondas and Acuras and like them for reducing, not eliminating, road gunk from getting splashed up on the sides of the cars. I have been reluctant to get them for the Cayenne because I cannot get a straight answer out of the vendor if they use existing screws and push plugs to attach or do they require drilling. I do not want to take a drill to my baby. Yes they are made in China, you remember they love the Cayenne over there, but look fairly well made. You can do a search on ebay and I am sure you will hit them.

Yeah, found them shortly after making the post. They couldn't even tell me what the instructions were on installing the things other than it "being easy"

I pursued them as wanted flaps while pulling my trailer to reduce road kickback.

Bottom line answer, no success.
The China ones, no one would respond to my specific question and to include photos of the install. Even though China is the largest market for the 958.

I tried to retrofit VW Toureg flaps with no success. Of course, the prior 958 flaps do not work, but did try that too.
