Might be the dumbest question ever, but...

Hey Zorba,
I have to plead guilty to **** retentive disorder.
When we went, I was pretty stoked on what we wanted to do, had to do and things which could be missed if the schedule didn't work.
Number one on my list was to make my wife happy.
it worked, as she wants to do ED for our next P-car.
Last half of June, you are so close to pick up day!!

"Happy wife, happy life" is what I tell my husband haha.
Time seemed to fly up until about a week ago, now because I am getting super excited and the trip is pretty much planned, it is draaaaaagin on. Every time I look at pics or read another ED blog I get so excited.
We also have a few 'must see's' and then we are planning on free wheeling a bit.
Did you journal/blog your experience? I am wondering if it was yours that I read.

Hey Zorba,
No, I didn't journal or blog.
Our ED was a holiday from all tech stuff.
Didn't bring our laptops, phones or anything which could be mistaken for work.
It was a wonderful break!
If you like racing tracks, go check out the Nurbergring.
Anticipation is great, but the trip itself will be stellar!

Hey Zorba,
One thing we did to create a unique memory was this:
We took along a Cayenne sales book - the hardcover brochure the dealership gives out.
I had various people along the journey sign in the book.
I would tell them what we were doing on our trip and ask them to sign the book.
We got as many people involved in our journey to sign in.
The cabbies, the pilots and flight crews (of all the airlines and flights we went on), the desk clerks, the wait staff, the car park attendants.
The coolest ones were the instructor who took us around the track in Leipzig, the front desk staff at the Werks, the girl who toured us around the factory, a couple of the workers who built our Cayenne, the people on the factory tour with us, and so on.
Makes me want to buy another Porsche

The days are really crawling by now. I am planning on doing a blog on my experience, I find that it helps my memories stay fresh. I have really enjoyed every ED blog I have found and keep searching for more every couple of days!
