Default Driver Seat Back

I have a 2006 Cayenne Turbo with the soft leather option.

As I was leaning back the other day my driver seat back fell down.

Double stick tape was no help.

Is there a recall for this problem? Solutions? Cost to Fix?

Thank you all in advance.....

Bill

Common problem due to poor adhesive, I had mine repaired under warranty on the 09 GTS.

Mine was also replaced under warranty around the 3.5 year mark on a 09 CTTS. Apparently it fell off while at the dealer for other warranty work, so I never actually got to see what it looked like.

What adhesive did you use? Is it still holding?

My wife went out shopping with the kids and texted me this picture with the caption "Hey, the back of the passenger seat just fell down!" After looking at it when i got home, it appears that Porsche sprayed on a black adhesive to keep it attached to three flat mounts connected to the back of the seat frame. See attached picture. Sorry for my son's funny face.
