I am looking at a 2006 Cayenne S at my local dealer. The car has been CPO and it has new 265/50R19 tires on it. The dealer insisted that 265/50R19 are the right size tires for the 2006 Cayenne S and that the car has passed CPO certification. I called Porsche and was told, as stated on the door jam and in the owner's manual, that 275/45R19 and 255/50R19 are the only Porsche approved tire sizes for the 2006 Cayenne S with 19" rims. This is the same info as found on Porsche's website. So what can I do or what should I do?
Anyone used 265/50R19 on their 955 or 957?

265/50/19 is from model year of 2012+ Cayennes and their width is only 8.5" compare to 9.0" for the 2006.
I have a 2005 CS with a set of 2012 Turbo-II 19" with 265/50/19 with no issue. I used to have 275/45/19 Sport Design 9" width 19" wheels.
