Default CTT PCM won't turn on at all

Came out and the entire PCM is off. No radio, Nav, Porsche boot up logo, nothing. Can't figure our what to do. There is no PCM listed in the fuse map. I tried fuse 11 on the right side which is radio, but that was fine.

It clearly seems like there's just no electrical power to the entire unit.

Any ideas???

Steve

i did some further investigating, including trying the 148 reset that someone mentioned. It appears there is electrical power, but nothing else is happening.

When you are stopped, if you hit those three buttons and the onoff switch, the unit appears to flicker green for a second before shutting off. That would indicate that it's at least not a fuse, although that would be simple.

Any other ideas as to what i might try?

Steve

OK, now I'm getting desperate and this is the very first time I've ever posted anything and had no replies. That's pretty scary! Any ideas to somehow reset my dead PCM?

Could it be the display? Does it play a CD or make any sound at all?

Not uncommon for your vintage PCM to be having issues. Could be time for an exchange unit at the dealer.

I'm pretty sure a PIWIS would ID the problem before you start just swapping parts.
