Default Drivers side mirror

In a bing "wtf" moment the other day, Im driving down the hiway, glance over to my drivers side door mirror and just as Im looking at it, it comes off and flies away. Im getting really sick of little things like this on my cayenne, especially inexcusable things like that.

So now that Im done with my rant, anyone know where I can get just the replacement glass? It wasnt the convex type.

Thanks!

What year Cayenne? Left-hand drive I presume?

Most definitely!
One last question: Do you have auto-dimming mirrors?

I do not have the auto dimming mirrors. I have the auto falling-off mirrors though apparently.

Im a cosworth fan too, I love their toys. My weekend toy is a Cosworth Escort RS tweaked pretty good.

That's funny, I was just looking at Escort Cosworths online earlier today. It's a shame they're so difficult to import to the US. A guy I met in Alaska has a '95 in Imperial Blue, and it's truly a thing of beauty.

Thats exactly what I was looking for thank you!
They are just amazing vehicles and incredibly capable. Frighteningly fast but predictable. It gets funny looks from people who dont know what it is (I have the high wing in the back) and the ones that do recognize it literally do anything they can to get another look at it.

That's how I would be. I'd love to see some pics of it. I got to check out an RS200 in Canada last year. That car is in a whole different league.

My 06 S's passenger mirror has come off and dangled multiple times yet has never blown away.
Luckily, I was smart enough to pay for the side mirror reinforced upgrade when I bought the pig
to prevent what happened to you!

I used to have this Cossie about 10 years ago. There were about 4 here in the Portland area, in various states of tune.

Very nice. Why'd you get rid of it?

We had one service place here (which did good work) and it was not a car I would take on a long trip. So got a WRX in its place.

Im not sure how to post pics here so here are some links of mine. Its a 1996 shell but built in 2005. It was the last unused motorsport shell in existence so it was literally brand new in 2005. It is a Group N chassis. It is the big turbo motor with about 450hp and 2300 lb so its a good combo Im running an aftermarket motec ecu because I didnt like the original one at all.
