Default LED DRL Difference

All:

Most 958 Cayenne's I've seen have the strip of DRL's that are easily noticed as individual lamps. Like the first set of Audi LED DRL's.

I have seen a handful of Cayennes (non-Turbo or GTS) that have more of a continuous strip of "line" rather than individual lamps.

Anyone know why?

I'm not familiar with the DRL's on the 957 so as mudman2 says, maybe that's what you are seeing. But on the 958 when the headlights are off, you see the individual DRL LED's. When the headlights are on, the individual LED's go out and a single strip position light comes on. Could that be what you're referring to?

That could very well be it. Did not know they went off.
