Thats great news, im glad you like everything. These small and easy upgrades can really make a difference in the feel and sound of the car, and make it more enjoyable day to day.
Thanks again for the feedback and let us know if you ever need anything else. Enjoy!

The only explanation of course would be your driving habits. Maybe the more aggressive exhaust note is making you a little lighter on the gas pedal, less jack-rabbity. Same with the gear changes. Your habits have changed because of the feedback you're getting.

Not the only explanation. Cats are often the biggest cause of pressure in the exhaust system. These cars are designed to need a small amount of back pressure for proper cylinder filling at the rpms you typically see daily driving. The secondary cats are only for emissions purposes. When deleting them, you are often actually increasing cylinder filling, and thus, torque. If you are making more (after deleting 2ndary cats) torque for the same amount of throttle input, you can reduce your throttle input and thus your fuel consumption.

As I recall, you have proprietary dyno sheets posted for most of your upgrades. Any idea the actual improvement in torque with JUST a secondary cat delete on his model, low-mid rpm, stock muffler, stock filters, etc?

Put them on my S a few months back along with the Porsche sport exhaust tips; I agree that the sound is better and the car does feel a bit quicker but who knows?

These were developed before my time here but I will try to find the chart and if I do I will post it.

Lol my son says the same when I drop him off at school "dad DO NOT REV IT...it's embarrassing"
But I feel it's quicker too because a point on the road where driving all out I used to touch 100 now I touch 115....also put in a K&N air filter so maybe that helps???
Wonder how much would an ECU tune help? And whether it would be worth it? Anyone?

KN filter makes a difference on any car but comes with risk. ECU tunes usually add at high RPM at the expense of mid-range where most of us drive. Depends on your driving habits whether you'll like it or not.

I did the K&N as well. I will probably try the ones Fabspeed sells next time. I don't plan to clean them, I will just replace them once a year.

That only changes the sound if you have the Porsche Sport Exhaust installed. It does change the sound a bit on my wife's TT but I dont have it on my S.

What risks does the filter come with?
