Question Front Turn Signal and Cornering Light Question

My RF turn signal bulb is apparently burned out and the RH cornering light is very dim:
1. Is the headlight assembly removal for bulb replacement per the manual as simple as it looks? If it's a indeed a no-brainer, I'll change the bulb myself. If it's tricky, I'd just as soon leave to the dealer since I'm taking it in on Friday for hatch struts anyway.
2. Is the cornering light dim because the TS bulb is out and they're on the same circuit, or is it a separate issue?

It is that simple. I don't know about the cornering light. Usually they either work or they don't. I don't know if I've ever seen one side particularly dim.

What do the cornering lights look like when illuminated? I have one out and was considering getting whiter, brighter ones to try and match the factory xenon headlights but they are 3 times the price and even thought still not expensive im not sure there is any point?

A bulb specialist here in the UK said halogen ones wont match anyway so i may pay for nothing in truth.

Id like to see the lights lit up, can that be done when stationary?

Yes, all you have to do is have your headlights on and turn the wheel.

H3 Bulb. Kinda a pain to change as you need long skinny fingers and no hand

I've got those covered.

OP - It's super simple. If you're going to Porsche of Scottsdale, you'll go right past me (Anthem) and I can show you how easy, and avoid another dealer fee. You can get the bulbs at any auto parts store.

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to change the bulb today. I just wanted to verify that I wouldn't be getting into an light alignment or seal problem.
